Marikina City will host the 2nd International River Summit, a three-day global event enjoining all the world’s most important river stakeholders to take the serious challenge on integrating our rivers into the quality of life.
Here are some photos of Marikina River at around 7:00AM today while Typhoon Luis (Kalmaegi) was traversing Northern Luzon and brought rains in Metro Manila (Marikina) and nearby cities and towns.
A big part of Marikina was once a marshland during the old times.
Welcome to Marikina River Park.
Its more commonly known as Ilog to local residents.
