Best noodles in town is at Mogu Tree Noodle House.
When I asked a friend “anong masarap dito”. He said, “lahat!” And so far, he’s right!
For first time customers, start with the noodle soup, it’s why they are called “Noodle house” (hehehe). The basic noodle soup is only Php 125.00. That’s already good for two people.
Choose your preferred noodles. Each noodle have names on the bowl. Pick which one you find interesting – thin, thick, yellow, or white. before they different sizes. The bigger the size means more soup (sabaw). But last time I went there, they only had one size.
Next, choose what will accompany your noodles:
- Seafood: shrimp, Crab meat, squid balls, taro lobster ball, squid cake, bamboo fish ball,
- Pork: Pork asado
- Chicken: Smoked chicken
- Others: corn, mushrooms, etc.
2 toppings means 4 pcs round toppings (that’s the 125.00). You can also choose 3 toppings. Or you can add more toppings for just Php 35.00 per toppings. But I suggest you go with two toppings first.
Place them all in a tray. Then give it to the cashier. Your noodles will be ready in 5 minutes.
They have Laksa variant (spicy).
You can have it for dine in or to go (take out). For take out orders, the soup is separated from the other ingredients.
They also have:
- Claypot Rice (rice with toppings meals) such as pork asado, smoked chicken, spareibs with taosi, etc.
- Dimsum: Hakaw, chicken feet, simomai, etc.
