I passed by the Marikina Sports center and saw some tents in the middle of the oval field. I though there were campers housing rescue personnel that are helping out in the rehabilitation of Marikina City.
But a closer look revealed that they were tents that is used by Marikenyos homeless left homeless by Typhoon Ondoy.

I further learned that families in these tents does not have any means of livelihood and are just waiting for relief and donations. I hope that they’d be given a decent home and a means of living.
