Marikina City police patrol cars are now equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) devices.

Chief Insp. Earl Castillo, head of the Marikina police Criminal Investigation Division, said the new tracking devices would be a big help to law enforcers in responding to the needs of the public.

Another Call Center was recently opened here in Marikina City.
NCO Group Inc. opened their 4th call center in the Philippines and they decided to house it in the cuty.  NCO’s Marikina site covers almost 10,500 square feet and includes 650 call center seats as well as recreational facilities, sleeping quarters, and training rooms.
