Free 2D animation Course for Marikenyos!

The Center for Excellence will be offering a Free 2D Animation Course.

The course duration is 648 hours which will be conducted at the CENTEX training room located at the 2nd floor of Marikina City Hall by an accredited TESDA Animation Trainer.

You must be 16 to 35 years old and a resident of Marikina (with proof of residency such as voter’s ID of enrollee (for 18 y/o above) or of parents (for below 18y/o), water and power bill, school certificates or school ID, birth certificate)

Also bring a photocopy of your cedula or Barangay clearance.

Cosplay in Marikina

Two CosPlay events will be happening in Marikina.

First is the Cyberzone Cosplay Tour happening at SM Marikina on August 14, 2010. This is a preliminary event to the Philippine Nationwide Cosplay Competition.

You need to pre-register to join this event.

Next is the CosPlay challenge at Marikina Riverbanks Center.

In celebration of the release of "CATS & DOGS – Revenge Of Kitty Galore," SM City Marikina invites you to join the Pet Photography Contest.

- Contest is open to all pet lovers
- Simply submit one (1) photo per pet and should contain the pet/s alone
- Only 1 photo per pet must be submitted
- Photos must be personally shot by owners
- Copyrighted photos will not be honored
